Documentary filmmakers Rainbow Collective and guest speakers from Goldsmiths’ recent graduates will be exploring why they are activists.

Event:

Introduction by Women in Film SE15 about what activism means to us within our community and contemporary society. Then we will hear from four amazing young activists:

Katrina and Marian - why the Alternative Degree Show?

Beth - activism within XR and environmental issues.

Giulia - who started the publication ekō, a magazine for those from migrant, refugee and asylum seeking backgrounds and allies, which publishes in three languages.

Film Screening & talk - The Rainbow Collective Documentary.

TRC will discuss their activism work since leaving college over 15 years ago and screen two shorts about the clothing workers in Bangladesh and the BLM protests.
