What's Love Got To Do With Teleportation? #3
Saturday 25 May, 2pm
Please join us Saturday 25th May for the next iteration of What's Love Got To Do With Teleportation? in which we'll hold a reading group and discussion at Jupiter Woods, culminating in a screening of Party On the CAPS, by Meriem Bennani.
This event has been organised by Katrina Black in collaboration with Lizzie Homersham, as part of an effort to think and talk about time and space and the conditions of loving relations, as mediated by different speeds of movement and communication in the city. In an image of a near future London, Pret offers teleportation as a form of public transport (in partnership with TFL).
For this session we will be reading David Harvey's text 'The Political Economy of Public Space'. This will be followed by a screening Meriem Bennani's film Party On the CAPS (2018). Watch the trailer here:
